Check the other TVs in your home. If this is the only set that has the problem, first make sure the power is on to the converter. Then check to see if the cable wires are tightly attached to the back of the TV, converter, VCR/DVD, etc and at the wall outlet. If all the sets in the home look like this, the cable may be in need of repair.
